Welcome to Abrazo Ancestral, your personal chef’s kitchen at Casa Isdvey. Here, all meals are included—from slow, comforting breakfasts to wine and mezcal-paired dinners under the stars.
 
Designed and led by Chef Yesenia Pérez, each dish honours techniques kept alive by Oaxaca’s culinary lineage. Tortillas are pressed by hand. Moles simmer slowly in clay pots. Ingredients are fire-roasted in the horno de tierra, just as her great-grandmother once did.

Chef Yesenia Pérez


Born in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Chef Yesi descends from four generations of traditional cooks. Her culinary skills are firmly rooted in Oaxaca but her formal training in French cuisine brings balance and refinement to every dish. At Casa Isdvey, she blends her heritage and technique to create thoughtful, flavour-driven menus that reflect the heart of Oaxacan cooking.
